Perhaps some of them will be rather pleasant and would make good company. By now I trust that you all know what role you are able to take should worst come to worst, which is a very real threat in this world. It might seem a far-off threat, but those of us that have lived here for a considerable amount of time know that it is still very, very real.
If you have not jumped back or turned your off for fear of me, then I commend you. My name is Temeraire, and while I may be a dragon, it does not mean that I will randomly attack any one person in this city.
I am a part of the Watch which means that I am here to protect everyone in my patrol area, so rest assured that I will never mean you any sort of harm... for the most part.
If you have any questions, I would be glad to answer them to the best of my abilities. Until then, I hope that you will make the best of your circumstances while you are here.

How dare she consider what we do to be chest-puffery and vague useless policing? We are trying our best to keep everyone safe for what it is worth. It might be something small as a robbery, but it could be something as serious as a Kishin egg.
