I've been pretty busy, so I'm sorry for not doing this earlier.

[She looks pretty tired, but otherwise fine] For those who don't know me, I'm Rei Kurosawa. I'm the owner of the Fatal Frames Gallery in town and a professional photographer. Please feel free to stop by and see me, or the gallery, any time.

I'm a meister with the ability Soul Sixth Sense and my weapon partner is Nepeta. I'm always open and free to help anyone having trouble, or needing someone to talk to.

Speaking of; To everyone I helped out in the tour: Would you mind checking in with me now? I'd like to know how you all are doing and if you're adjusting well.

[She smiles warmly-- then hesitates someone and frowns, looking a little sheepish]

I, uh... will also be working at the Kissing Booth for the festival coming up... [her cheeks turn a bit pink and she rubs the back of her neck] I told him to put me anywhere he needed me, but-- [But that wasn't where she expected to be put]

Still, a commitment is a commitment... [Rei trails off lightly, shakes her head, and turns the video off]

These trees with their sort of foliage...

They remind me of the trees that were in the dark woods when I was crossing across Austria to get to Prussia. They smell quite peculiar, very different from the others that I was used to.

[and with this, you can see him flick his tongue a little, "smelling" the tree.]

As for this Christmas, I have only been told about it to some extent, but I cannot say that I have ever celebrated it before. In all my life, we have not had the chance to do so, nor would I have had a normal one I would think, due to the circumstances at home.

War tends to make that quite difficult.

I do hope that perhaps I might have a good opportunity to celebrate it properly now that it is coming within several days. These trees are a good start.

Though why the mistletoe?

[[Fakir's expression is as sour as ever, but he manages to look as though he's not specifically irritated at whoever is viewing this. His eyes don't quite connect with the screen as he speaks, gruffly and a bit hesitantly.]]

I need a... gift. An appropriate Christmas gift.

[[He adds, almost as an afterthought:]]

For a girl.

[[His eyes snap back to focus on the screen, and he gains some more firmness to his tone.]]

And nothing stupid, like flowers or chocolate.

[ The feed clicks on, the only thing in view is the side of a woman's fish-netted leg as it's owner unintentionally holds the camera facing. The owner doesn't speak immediately, in fact, there is a long silence before she begins moving, her steps hesitant. After she stops moving again, she brings the camera up to her face.

Kasuga is looking really rather confused, her eyes darting around and after a few more seconds, she finally lowers her eyes to the camera and speaks. ]

This is Death City, is it not? I-- I fear I have been gone much longer than I had thought. It looks like the place I remember, yet much as changed...

I wish to know how long it has been-- From my understanding, the time is not the same if BREW wills it... For me, it has been over a year. I can only hope that it is not the same... [ She hesitates, eyeing the strange sprig above a doorway. The next part is spoken low, mostly to herself. ] I only hope that if it has, things may return to how they were previously...

[ After another short pause, and the low creek of a door, Kasuga turns off the feed. For those that live in 6A of the Fatality Condominiums, however, also get the sound of a door closing as someone returns home. ]

[The screen shakes a little as she tries to figure out how the communicator works. But once she manages to to get the camera to show her face, cheerful yet a bit tense.] I-is this working? Oh-hello! My name is Momo Hinamori. [She gives a slight bow of the head.] I am pleased to meet you all. I’m not sure if I have the whole story of this place, but were we basically brought here to fight a war? [It seems to follow her around, huh?] I don’t really want to fight, but if it’s necessary...

And I hope you don’t mind me making a request, but can any of you tell me if you have seen others dressed like me? We come from the same place, Soul Society. I just think it would be comforting to have someone you know around you when you are in an unfamiliar place. [She smiles thinking of her companions, already nostalgic and homesick. She wouldn’t wish for someone to be whisked away like she was, but if they were...]

[Due to this conversation and a general reluctance to haul his skinny ass to a training session, L has decided to take the matter of finding out his Weapon form into his own perfectly capable, mature, and reasonable hands. Firmly and decisively, with... both thumbs and forefingers, apparently.

The camera turns on halfway through what is clearly a very bumpy descent down a flight of stairs in Casualty Communal. L actually does know how to fall down without getting seriously injured, but with only the perspective from inside his pocket to go on, this might not be terribly obvious. In fact, it might seem like nothing more than someone falling down a flight of stairs, clumsily and painfully. It's not really possible to identify anything about the person in question, except for the fact that he's a slip of a thing, and that he has long limbs and not much control over how he's tumbling.

By the time the fall comes to an abrupt end, however, the communication device and camera have tumbled out of L's pocket and dropped into a position where network watchers can see a perfectly clear view of the landing. There are no scrawny young men in sight. Just a pair of sleek steel handcuffs lying on the ground, connected by a long chain.]
