( offscreen (tonight's dream) )[The video feed opens up in Miku's apartment. It's horrendously clean and organized. A few origami cranes sat on her desk, discarded to the side. In the distance, the sound of thunder can be heard echoing through the walls. Miku holds her communicator at her room, before turning it back on herself. She seems dreary tonight, in contrast to the happier front she put up this morning at training.]Good evening. It's raining again... I hope everyone's safe inside tonight.
[She nervously shifts her communicator around in her hands.]Lately I've been thinking a lot about the past, about memories. Like what keeps a memory alive, or what causes it to fade away. Eventually... our memories will disappear. That's why we take photographs, to remember our lost memories. It's a reminder of what we once had.
[She bites her lower lip. But there was nothing to remind her of Mafuyu here. Will she just forget him? She once thought that his memory would always stay fresh, alive in her mind, but now she realizes how naive that was. Already she felt the edges fading. If she was just going to forget him...
Miku shakes her head, sighing. Not only was that on her mind, but also that man's words in her first video entry. 'You've returned.' Someone who recognized her... but she didn't remember. How cruel.]If you're sent back home, you forget your time here, right? But have I... really been here before?
