[When the communicator has been turned on, it's been positioned so that you can see Souji cooking at the stove, pots and pans set around him, along with different boxes and other ingredients about.]

I had a good time at the party. So for those of you who needed to convince me to go, I'll let you have your 'I told you so's now. [Smiles as he says it, though, and one of the pans make a sizzling sound, to which he turns down the heat.] It was a nice break, but now that it's over, there are some more serious things to get into.

I've started going to the training they offer here, and I've begun training with different weapons, rather then just sticking with swords. [Gives a wry smile.] Since it seems that swords are in short supply.

Otherwise, a job is next on my list. I've already taken a look at some places, so I should have something soon. [He turns the heat down and puts a lid on one of the pots.] It'll be nice to be busy again.

Another day, another party. Although it was the first I've attended in this place. It's still somewhat a reminder of my world. The only difference is how willing I was to attend this party. And for good reason, I suppose... I actually enjoyed myself.

[His shoulders are shaking, just slightly, and he's gripping at the fabric of his pant-leg tightly with his free hand. There are no words, and he hardly moves, but his trembling yet somehow rigid posture makes it rather clear that he's very, very upset about this.

After a minute of holding the paper out, he pulls it back and looks at it. There's a pause for contemplation as he eyes his artwork, then heaves a very heavy sigh and digs in his jacket pocket for a marker to add:]



[A ring that actually looks like the one bottom left. He holds the paper up again and then lowers it after another moment to stare at his hands and wait awkwardly.]

As you've all noticed, it appears that there is a wave of crime rolling through the city. I am aware that the human body requires rest, and so those who worked until six this morning are ordered to restore their strength first. All others, I implore that you head out and search our section for those responsible for these acts. It is uncertain to if there are more than one assailant so we must remain vigilant in our pursuit.

I will investigate the location these acts transpired, and will relay what information I gather when it becomes known.

[ He focuses the camera on himself, and he's smirking, very pleased with himself. ] So. To everyone who's been wondering, especially Kanaya, this is my brand new abode. Visitors are required to take off their shoes at the door, as well as their socks if their socks are stained.

[ He winces at the thought of stained socks - seriously, there's this thing called bleach, learn to wash your whites with it! He proceeds to sit on his newly slip-covered couch and goes to grab his iPhone to play some tunes, but...

His face seems to pale.

His mouth drops in an "o".

He hastily pats himself down, drops the communicator for a second - so now you have a lovely look at his ceiling, enjoy that - and rummages through his bag off-screen.

Eventually there is a... roar, for lack of a better word. And he's back, showing you all a note that says:

My wallet's been stolen, and the usual suspect isn't really around to be taking things anymore. Awfully unlucky thief, really, since I keep my money with my sweets.

Anyways. I'd like it back. ... But don't go digging through it, if you do find it.

It's purple. I'm not drawing a picture. If you don't know what a purple wallet looks like, you're obviously too damn stupid to be looking for it.
