[Today's temperatures are 81/57F (27/14C), with a nice southwesterly breeze - should give really good weather conditions for a party.

In the meantime, the sun will be doing its usual, but just because it can't pop on down there and join the festivities doesn't mean it's snubbing the true reason for the celebration. Its sentiments count, too, all right?]

[The feed comes on to Mustang attending to a few things in the background: files, the computer he has down at the office, the dress uniform he'll be wearing to the party. He comes around quickly enough, though!]

Just a few quick announcements: members of the Watch, myself included, will be at the party both to participate in the festivities and to serve as security in case something happens. Don't hesitate to approach any of us if there's a problem. The city will, of course, be well-protected even in our absence from our usual sectors... Shibusen was kind enough to provide us with their own student Technicians and staff members to fill in.

On another note, the Watch is looking for people who are willing to serve as clerks and couriers to help us manage the office. Interested folks are free to contact me, should you have any questions.

[Smiles.] I'm sure we're all going to enjoy ourselves later.

The revised shift list has been posted at the office. Take a look at it when you guys are free... there weren't too many changes this time around, but that may not be the case in the new future.

On another note, I noticed that we have a few partnered pairs. Would any of you be interested in becoming Zone Leaders? I'm not sure if you're all aware of this, but we still have four sectors of the city that aren't covered by our patrols. I can start assigning people to them the moment I have responsible leaders whom I can leave them with.

Some of you already knew this before, but, as announced, Shibusen's people will be taking charge of the Watch shifts during the party. That leaves all of you free to come. [Smiles again.] You have no excuse whatsoever not to show up.

I am pleased to announce that my master has awakened. It would be in the interest of his welfare, however, that visits are kept to a minimum.
