[What's immediately obvious when this broadcast begins is that Katsura is outside somewhere during the afternoon and that he's apparently staring at the shopping mall for some reason, if you're familiar with that area. He starts to speak into the communicator soon after.]

Good afternoon, Death City. Tomorrow, many of you will have a chance to be part of something incredible. The joy of running into the hall with your date, the laughter you will share with your friends many years on as you remember how you all fought to get in line for the buffet, only to discover that ten other people were in front of you...these are memories that you must cherish forever, but certain rules must still be followed no matter how excited you are. If you have a date, you will stand by them for the duration of the event. You will not desert them because another person caught your eye, you must not admit that you only brought them there out of pity and you will not leave the party until your date wishes to leave. Ah, another thing...please refrain from injuring yourself by dancing and stretching your arms out for the punch. This is supposed to be a joyous occasion and you will only disappoint everyone if you are sent back to the hospital.

Moving on, I would like to address a perplexing issue that has been on my mind for some time now. [Katsura turns the communicator away from himself and focuses on the buildings...there's nothing unusual about them.] I would have thought that the Christmas decorations to celebrate Santa's arrival would have been set up and that there would be several Santas greeting the customers with calls of "Ho, ho ho, buy gifts to show how much you care!", but there doesn't seem to be any sign of him at all. There is a distinct lack of the holiday spirit within Death City and it worries me to see such apathy amongst its citizens. Why is Santa missing? Where are his elves and what are they doing, taking a vacation during this time of the year? This is unacceptable! Even if this is a different America than what I am used to, I cannot accept an America that does not respect the traditions of Christmas!

Ah, there is one more thing that I would like to say. In regards to this this poll, I'll require the assistance of one person to serve as the spokesperson for the moon. If you appreciate what the moon has done for you and you would like to show your support for him, please contact me and state your name. Thank you.

[Miles is sitting on his couch; beside him is a long lined box, and on his lap is a shiny new flute. No, he will not be talking about the party or even giving you all a musical number BUT YOU ARE ALL FREE TO BUG HIM TO GO.

Well, the last time he tried to introduce himself over the network, he didn't have his voice and Phoenix hijacked his transmission.]

If any of you, newcomer or no, still do not believe that everything you see and hear right now is real, you may investigate for yourselves and search for evidence to prove your claim as I did upon my arrival. However, I myself have yet to uncover anything that will cast doubt upon our circumstances.

And with that, I would like to extend a rather...belated welcome to the newcomers of Death City. I am Miles Edgeworth, a prosecutor and one of the heads of the Kuzunoha Detective Agency. My Weapon partner is Phoenix Wright.

Private to Shibusen

Following recent events, my partner has gained new abilities from the witches' experiments. Will these abilities impact any future resonation attempts?

[[This filter away from Ahiru is pretty weak, but that probably doesn't matter.  Fakir would be shocked if she wasn't worse with these devices than he is.

He looks a lot calmer and a lot less irritated than he usually does when he makes posts.  He also looks a bit weary, though the circles under his eyes are gone.]]

Ahiru is back, and no longer in the clinic.  Germany ... and Prussia, your help was appreciated.

She is doing better, but she has not mentioned going to this ... gathering, tomorrow, and I also believe it would be best if she didn't go.

[[He hesitates briefly, but pushes on, his voice reluctant.]]

... It would do her good to have distractions that are not strenuous.  What does this place offer besides books?

[[He stops for a moment to fiddle with his SC and end the filter, then awkwardly clears his throat.]]

I will not be reapplying for my position at the antique shop, but I intend on returning to morning practice as an instructor soon.  I expect to see new arrivals there.

[[With a curt nod--how is he supposed to end these messages, anyway?  They aren't like letters he can sign--he cuts the feed.]]

[ The feed clicks on. That's right - just on. No feedback squeals, no inadvertent activations, no inexplicable skipping. Just. On. Grell might actually, you know, be catching on to this technology! ]

Attention Death City!

As being "human" is not something that comes naturally to all of us, I thought I'd put together a manual. Cos there's lots of details that no one ever bothered to point out. For instance - humans have got to eat three meals a day. But did you know...

SOME FOODS ARE DANGEROUS!

Like - sauerkraut!

[ Oktoberfest represented a whole HOST of new experiences! ]

Eat too much of it at once, and you feel as though your tongue's been torched. And beer! It's a bit bitter, but seems innocuous enough. But I had one glass - no, two. Maybe three? Er... think I lost count. Anyway! I felt my head was going to exploooooode, and I was horribly sick all over...

Erm.

Well. That's... that's something I wanted to ask about, actually. Suppose - hypothetically - you had this, er, friend. And you managed, somehow, to be sick. On his shoes. And drooled on him. A bit.

I mean - what d'you say to this person afterwards? Er, hypothetically.

[ Coughs ]

Right! If any of you lot have some other tips on being human, I'd loooooove to hear them. Cos figuring everything out on my own is such a crashing bore!

[ END FEED ]
