[Today's temperatures are 88/73F (31/23C).]
[Or at least, the day will start out like any other, hot and sunny and dusty, but observant guests might notice that there are more clouds in the sky than usual today, lowering temperatures for a bit and providing intermittent shade and momentary relief.
By noon, though, these clouds will start thickening and gathering and darkening ominously, complete with a sudden rise in humidity, faint rumbles of thunder, and the heavy, oppressive feeling of a threatening thunderstorm.
It's a late monsoon, Death City. The downpour will start a bit after lunchtime, and unfortunately for everyone, the city is structured in a way that rain crashing down on the top levels of the city will cascade down to the lower levels through the streets, turning the entire place into a gigantic water slide. Anyone standing in the streets at the lower levels will most likely get swept out into the desert, so best stay indoors.
The rain won't last long, but the clouds will hang around for a bit.]
