[ It clicks on as audio-only, as always. Giovanni leans back slowly, and the friction of his suit and the couch material can be heard in the background. ]

... Things have returned to normal, recently.

[ It's very subtle and difficult to catch, but someone particularly attentive might notice that Giovanni's breathing is sounding a little bit strained, like he can't quite pull enough air into his lungs. Or like it hurts to, maybe.

He's doing a fine job of not making it too apparent, regardless. ]

It must be hard for the ones who lost someone. But it's only a matter of time before people forget, isn't it?

It's been six days. [ His tone becomes a bit more pointed, personal, his voice lowering like he's speaking to someone specific. ]

I think I could really use a way to take my mind off of recent events. I've looked all over the place, but I can't seem to find a good nail salon. Can anybody recommend a place, or is anybody good at that sort of thing?

My nails are chipping...
