[The video on the PDA flickers once or twice. A hand blocking the screen moves away to reveal a corner of blue sky and an extremely tired face. The face in question belongs to a young woman with short black hair. Naoto looks beat up, worn, as if she had just come out of a fight.]

Is...this on?

[She blinks at the screen a couple of times, hesitating a little bit more before plunging on.]

I'm sorry, but I won't fight your battles. That's something the people in this city should do. I have to do something back home and...I have to get back. I have to save them.

[A pause. Her face is darkening now and her mouth is set into a hard line.]

Please. Return my katana to me. Now.

[...the log that we're doing with them right now is actually the two of them finally getting a damn clue and becoming partners. We've been working up to it for months. ^_^

Anyway, Kanda's not bothered by the abrupt end to their chat. He's not too fond of talking to people anyway.]

Haha! They're actually even more similar that we imagined when we started thinking about apping the two of them here--that was before the Alma arc in DGM, so we didn't know how many similarities they were going to end up having in their pasts. (It was just largely our theories at that point.) They do seem to make quite a lot of sense together though! XD

Also, she is free to (try to) apologize to him if she wants--he'll more than likely scoff at her for doing it. She might be a bit socially inept, but he's aces on the mean-spirited, short-tempered, and downright rude front. She is a far far nicer person than he is, methinks.

I'm sort of looking forward to having Kanda scoff at her. She won't take it too kindly, but she won't try to rip out his throat either. In other words, there will probably be no way to befriend this guy. (And she'll give up, don't worry lol).

...Canon definitely proves that she's the nicer person. :D
