[The video on the PDA flickers once or twice. A hand blocking the screen moves away to reveal a corner of blue sky and an extremely tired face. The face in question belongs to a young woman with short black hair. Naoto looks beat up, worn, as if she had just come out of a fight.]

Is...this on?

[She blinks at the screen a couple of times, hesitating a little bit more before plunging on.]

I'm sorry, but I won't fight your battles. That's something the people in this city should do. I have to do something back home and...I have to get back. I have to save them.

[A pause. Her face is darkening now and her mouth is set into a hard line.]

Please. Return my katana to me. Now.

::As a matter of fact, he doesn't, a pistol being his chosen weapon...however he doesn't like the threat in that voice, and won't be pushed around by another's demands. His voice is cold with annoyance.::

I have no weapon currently. It is a state that all of the guests of this city find themselves in when they arrive. There are only Weapons and Meisters - the only other weaponry available is for practice sessions.

I happen to be a Weapon.

::He's not going to mention that he doesn't know what his form is. Oh no. This rude voice is not going to be given any unnecessary information.::

[She doesn't believe this person, her paranoia that's been developed from the of six isn't helping her any. But something would, she knows that the Naoto she's searching for is a woman, but it was hard to determine exactly-]

::The response is long in coming. That question bristles all sorts of warning alarms in Naoto's mind. Who would even ask such a question? And why? The detective's words are short and sharp, and form a question as well.::

What does that have to do with anything? Who are you?

My name is Naoto. And - I need to know - does a man named Fuyumine mean anything to you?

::This situation couldn't be worse. Naoto might not know anyone by the name of 'Fuyumine', but being the detective that he is, he's not going to back down without a fight over control of the information being traded here. Another Naoto? Strange...the name isn't a particularly common one.::

Perhaps you should clarify the situation before making demands of me. What does this Fuyumine mean to you?

[And it's irritating her because she's remembering that dead corpse. If this person is the one she's been searching for, how could she ask that question to her-]

::A pause as he thinks over this tidbit of information, mulling briefly over what it means then that this other Naoto is asking about her father.::

[And that little piece of anger dissolves. The person's not lying to her. She's relieved and disappointed. And embarrassed.]

::Sorry, other Naoto, but he's going to press for the advantage while he has it. He hasn't had enough time with friends to establish social graces for this sort of conversation. If he wants to know something, he will attempt to retrieve it by whatever means is necessary.::
