demise_archive[The feed begins as though the communicator's been sent flying, or at least knocked back a few feet as it captures Kenshin's form lunging forwards, the glint of the sharp inside edge of his sakabatou as he draws it a few inches from its sheath.
He stays frozen there for a few moments, his heavy breathing audible in the quiet of his room. Then he finally moves—sliding the sword slowly back into its sheath, letting his hand go limp so the sheath then clatters to the ground, relaxing out of his tensed ready-for-battle stance.
He lets out a long sigh as he drops back down to the ground himself and rests his back against the wall. His head lowers; he buries a hand in his bangs and clenches that hand.]
It's only surprising they did not begin again sooner...
