[Because, it is only fair to give fair warning to the new people that have arrived about his presence, is it not? Perhaps some of them will be rather pleasant and would make good company. So here you go Death City, and more importantly you knew inhabitants, you are now seeing video of a considerably-sized dragon in his apartment, tail languidly swishing from side to side.]

To all the new residents of Death City, greetings.

By now I trust that you all know what role you are able to take should worst come to worst, which is a very real threat in this world. It might seem a far-off threat, but those of us that have lived here for a considerable amount of time know that it is still very, very real.

If you have not jumped back or turned your off for fear of me, then I commend you. My name is Temeraire, and while I may be a dragon, it does not mean that I will randomly attack any one person in this city.

I am a part of the Watch which means that I am here to protect everyone in my patrol area, so rest assured that I will never mean you any sort of harm... for the most part.

If you have any questions, I would be glad to answer them to the best of my abilities. Until then, I hope that you will make the best of your circumstances while you are here.

She doesn't get that, Temeraire, and she's incredibly stubborn. Trying to talk to her will only result in her provoking you, which will make you angrier. Even if you started out on a good foot, you'll end up letting her win.

...out of curiosity, can you tell me about your world?

A dragon! A rare species, from my universe at least. Quite a few myths. A few real ones too, though I heard tale of created ones, though I suppose you can't quite call them fake, if they were living and existing.

It's a pleasure, Temeraire! And a Watch member too! I've been meaning to ask about that. I suppose watching the city ought to be easier than watching the universe. So hard to make sure My Thief went where he needed to go! I believe I am Sexy, by the way.

I have not personally seen one but everyone in Wei, Wu and Shu have stories about you.

Oh, it is generally like this world, except that the sun is simply a large ball of fire up in the sky and doesn't have a face. Likewise for the moon.

I have been told that my world is mainly like most other normal versions of Earth, except that in mine, we dragons exist. For example, I was part of the British Aerial Corps that fought against Napoleon Bonaparte and his own Armée de l'air.

Well, you talked about how busy you are with the Watch, then you talked about duty. I was just curious.

Are... are there no animals where you are from? That is wholly peculiar.

Well, I am glad that you have some form of subsistence with which to survive by, even if it is only with vegetables.

At least, I am thinking about dragons in my own world. I am not sure how it might be in other worlds, but at least that is how it is in my experience.

Most dragons that have relationships with humans work in different means. I am personally part of the British Aerial Corps back home, fighting in wars alongside my Captain and my crew, as well as other wingmates. In China, dragons are also part of the army, but they also are part of the Imperial civil service. There are also other dragons that work in transport, and several more still that work in courier routes and deliver mail.

I am quite glad to meet someone that is rather open-minded about dragonkind, even if they might have had a negative experience with one beforehand.

Wei? Wu? Shu? Are these places in China?

I have been here for a small, yet considerable while... pardon, but what is your name?

In my experience, this particular world is like a different version of Earth. So in essence, yes - China does still exist here, yet it would be slightly different.

As for how I can turn the pages, I must only be careful with them. I have become more proficient with them now that I have had more experience using them.

They were awfully small back home. Now that I have been made small because of BREW, it is quite manageable.

[He lifts up his neck to take a look around the room. That tail in the air is swishing from side to side as if to test how far it can go for a moment.]

With how small I've become ever since coming here, I would have to say that while yes, I do have to mind my bulk, I am rather comfortable in my apartment, young miss.

I'm just surprised to see a mythical creature living such a domestic lifestyle.

So BREW shrank you before you arrived here then? No doubt because they wanted to keep you at a manageable size where you wouldn't pose as much of a threat if you went against them.

Yes, I am a dragon. I do not know about "created" ones, but I am quite real, living and existing.

Pardon me, but I do not think I quite understood that which you were speaking about. I do not know how other males would judge your aesthetics, but if you believe you are appealing, then I am quite sure that your confidence will have them swoon.

Also you will have to pardon me, for I do not know about any thief, or where he needs to go.

I think you might have me at a disadvantage, miss.

We dragons might be a part of myth and lore in other worlds, but I assure you, where I am from we are a very real existence to everyone in the world.

It did, but I can only surmise that it was more due to my normal considerable size. I would not have been able to fit anywhere inside the city, save for the park perhaps, or the steps in front of Shibusen, which I would not imagine to be a good thing.

Well, you did add in that, "for the most part" there. Still, I'm surprised BREW would summon dragons as well knowing that it would have to correct such inconveniences, not to mention if it did want to summon such an imposing creature it would have been better to allow you to keep your powers.

And it was even able to change your physiology by giving you the capability of being either a Meister or a Weapon. Their magic overall isn't as impressive here, but this BREW is definitely interesting.
