002 - Video

[ He just posted to the network last night but Sokka just bought a new box of crayons and was eager to test them out. He started out by drawing a picture of himself and then of Suki but other things came of it. ]

[ Here you see Sokka holding up a piece of paper to the screen. This is what is seen. ]

[ Then you see Sokka's face peek out from behind. ] This makes no sense. I've never been here before but how did I come out with THIS? Is Death City a spirit world or a dream world?

I demand answers, Death City!

[ SOKKA HAPPENS TO BE VERY POPULAR WITH THE LADIES. ]

No, which is good, I suppose. Better that she's in a safer place right now.

[ THOUGH HE MISSES HER HIDEOUSLY. ]

That's probably the best way to think of it... but that shouldn't mean you shouldn't miss her either.

I left someone important when I came here too, it's not easy.

[A pause, then she laughs a little]

But not the type of person I'd want to put in a heart.

Not that she couldn't protect herself or anything! [ Nice save, Sokka! ]

You too? A sibling? I have one of those too.

[She pauses, almost looking surprised. A short pondering expression, then--]

In a way we were born on the same day, so I guess we are. Or close enough.

You have a sibling? What are they like?

A twin? [ He's not quite sure how this person can be so unsure but he's definitely been dealing with a heck of a lot weirder lately. ]

Annoying, preachy...hairloopytastic...

Not in the classic sense. It's complicated. [And though her tone barely changes at all, there's a little hint of this being Dangerous Conversation Territory]

...hairloopytastic...I haven't heard that one before.

...

[ He's sensing something but for the most part, he's pretty clueless. ] Complicated?

[ Just to get his point across, he mimes the way her hair is looped. ] Like that?

Well, he's a motorade for one thing. [And yeah, the hair thing is make her headtilt a little... but this is the girl that cut off all her hair with a knife so yeah.],/small>

[ Cue the headtilting when he hears the term MOTORADE. ]

...right. One of those. How dare he.

...

You don't know what I mean, do you?

I have no idea.

[He hold her hands up in loose fists, twisting invisible accelerators of her imaginary motorcycle]

?

...what?

Still don't get it.

Hold on.

[About 15-20 minutes later she comes back with a simpler version of this:]

[ He looks at it...looks at it sideways. Look at it backwards. ]

Hm...nope. Still don't get it.

[ No motorcycles where he is from. ]

[She sighs, putting the paper aside]

He's a machine that I can ride around, basically. Only he can talk.

...hm. I might have to see this in person to get a better visual. Is he here?
