So! After everything that happened, and. Uh. With the hands sticking thing...

[She looks distinctly uncomfortable, her legs folded under her as she sits on her bed with a little frown.]

Anyway, I thought that maybe I could find a partner for that mission, yeah? I'm a Weapon and I mean. Uh.

[Stops and finally blows out a frustrated breath of air.]

I didn't really like it, but I turned into one of my binding rods, yeah? So maybe someone out there knows how to fight using a rod, so I guess that's what I'm letting everyone know! Even if I really, really didn't like it...

But you have to promise not to throw me at something! Because partnerships are all about trust, yeah? And that's important to me, especially after everything that happened with those sand things.

What's a binding rod?

Um, it's this rod, and there are these strings, yeah? It's a little like fishing, where you throw out the strings and they stick to the enemy, so you can reel them in close and hurt them!

Are you sure? [Oh god Vanille you cannot do anything that might let you get hurt because aaaaaaaaaaaa.]

Um! No, not really! But it would be kinda a waste if I didn't do anything with it, yeah? I just... [Trails off and shrugs. She wasn't hurt, but it wasn't fun either.]

You don't have to, though...I mean, if you're not sure, there are plenty of others that are gonna fight, so we can pick up the slack. You don't need to feel obligated to or anything...

Are you all right? Was the situation you transformed during too stressful?

Under normal circumstances, I use a trident. I am not sure of how similar that is but I... I wouldn't throw you.

Binding rod? Mind if I ask what that looks like? [Because he just doesn't have a clue.]

And no one should be throwing rods. Now, knives and stuff are a total different story.

But the more people who join the fight, the sooner we might all get to go home, yeah? That...you should be able to go home, too, Hope!

Noa! [Looks a little sheepish.] Yeah, it was kinda stressful? My hand was stuck to this guy's...and I never transformed before or anything.

A trident? I guess it's kind of the same shape? Except there aren't any sharp points on a binding rod. [Blushes a little.]

But at least you wouldn't throw me, yeah?

Okay! It's a rod, almost like a staff, but a little smaller? And it has four prong shapes at the top, where the lines come from. It's a little bit like fishing, yeah? You toss out the lines, and bring the enemy in, and then you attack them when they're close!

[Laughs a little.] The rod wasn't thrown or anything, it was. Uh, well, it was me, yeah? He threw me at the sand construct!

Yeah, but...if you don't really want to, you shouldn't think you have to. Lots of people aren't fighting. And you could always help the medics or something if you want to do something...

It feels wrong not to fight. [Sighs softly, flopping down on the bed and looking into the camera.]

I don't know, yeah? But I feel like I should do something, now that I know what I can do!

Wow, never even heard of something like that before. Sounds pretty cool, if you ask me. What's it usually made out of? You know, when it's not being made out of you. [A kind laugh.]

Well, hell, that's no way to treat someone!

That sounds like a lot to deal with, but you still did it. You should be proud of yourself.

Binding rod?

...Yeah? [Gives a small smile.] I...I didn't think it was something to be proud of, yeah? It was pretty scary!

[You...whoever you are, you are a nice person, and that makes her grin.] It depends on the rod, yeah? Sometimes a heavy wood, or a light type of metal!

Yeah! You shouldn't be allowed to throw people just to see if something happens!

It's what I used as a weapon back home! It has a short staff, then four prongs at the top, yeah? The wires are thrown out and they catch onto the enemy and bring it close so you can kill it!

Finding a partner seems difficult lately, doesn't it?

Mm. So if... If there no one else you would prefer, then perhaps we could meet and attempt resonation?

I think so, especially under the circumstances you were in. Transforming might become a routine thing eventually, but doing it the first time is an accomplishment.

If it becomes a routine thing...[Pauses for a moment.] Well, uh, I don't know, yeah? I haven't tried to transform beside that one time!
