[Another post made from the training field~ no public word from Mustang this time, though. It's straight to business.]


Filter: The Watch

You've probably all seen the relevant post on this already, but Zone Leaders Cloud Strife and Sephiroth have resigned. They were with us since the beginning, and I am sorry to see both of them go. Still, their decision is one I respect. I only wish that I could have done more to prevent their resignation from happening in the first place.

[While his tone and expression are quiet and neutral, it may be obvious to the incredibly perceptive (or the people who happen to know him well) that Roy has some sentiments over this incident. He is damned good at hiding it, though.]

Now, four things:

The Winter Festival is coming up. Flynn's been placed in charge, so I'd like all of you to support him as much as you can. Thanks, as well, to those of you who volunteered to take shifts and help him out.

I am considering the possibility of making arrangements for another resonance session. This will be targeted, as always, at the unpartnered members of our organization, but everyone else is more than welcome to drop in. It's important, I think, for all of us to know whom we can work with in a pinch, or if we find ourselves without a partner. When would be a good time for the lot of you?

A lot of the monster clearing missions still haven't been taken. I'd like to make the accomplishing of these high priority, and caution the Zone Leaders and patrolmen assigned to the Outer Quarter. [He's looking at you, Souji. And Takasugi, only that would kind of be like looking at myself, sob] You guys may end up encountering the cougars during your shifts. Try not to stick to traveling in pairs or groups.

Patrolmen of Outer Residential Quarter II: you're all in need of a new pair of Zone Leaders. The following pairs are eligible for the position.

+ Information on the pairs: Toph and Temeraire were recently promoted as deputies - Toph is also one of the youngest Zone Leader types on the team. -- edited this, since I apparently fail at ooc coordination. Motochika and Shizuo are already working as the deputies of the Zone Cloud and Sephiroth used to handle. Naruto and Sasuke are rather experienced, but the most experienced pair in terms of stay in the Watch and mission/soul count would be Gaara and Rock Lee.

[Once again, the video feed doesn't really show Luna's face, but rather the side of her as she arranges something on her dresser. Why the video, if she's not looking? It's fun. Isn't that wall nice?]

To whoever's in charge of decorating -- or anybody, really -- have you already checked the mistletoe for nargles? Nobody seems to have even heard of them, and they can be very irritating if not properly avoided.

If you're curious, and I expect you are [she's had to explain this to several people already] they're small creatures known to make off with belongings and hide in mistletoe. Not necessarily simultaneously, though I suppose that's also possible.

It's not that I dislike mistletoe, but I don't want to lose any of my things again.

If anybody has a spare loudspeaker, I'd like to borrow it so I can talk with the moon.

I've been Christmas shopping! I think I've got something for everyone, but I forgot my list, so you should tell me what you want, regardless. There's more money to burn through.

I'm not a big fan of the cold, but I hope it snows. It'll be almost like a real Christmas that way, hmm? After I get a smaller tree, for the apartment.
