[ Ronald looks a bit tired when the video comes on, but he is smiling none-the-less, though not his usual charming-go-lucky grin. Also, though he can only be seen from the collarbone up, there is a strap over his shoulder that looks very much like that of one might use for an arm sling. ]

Well that was certainly quite the ordeal. I take it most Hallow's Eves are not this eventful. Though I quite enjoyed myself before everything went a bit...crazy.

On that matter though, I think I'm now interested in learning more about my role in this place. I was told I was a weapon. I'd like to learn more about being a weapon and perhaps work on finding a partner. I heard there is some sort of training for that?

Either way I'll probably be down at this lantern festival later tonight. I do hope everyone else is doing okay after all of that.

Jeez, I know I heard a bit about Halloween and all but I am pretty sure it is not supposed to be like that! I hope everyone is okay.....

Yuuri, Naruto, you're okay, right?

Also. What's this I hear about lanterns or something?

I have a question that I hope Shibusen, or someone else might be able to answer. One that I feel many of us might be curious to know, particularly in lieu of the homage we are paying to those deceased.

We have learned from those that BREW has sent home, and brought back with their memories intact--that is the exact same person, that when they were sent home it was at the exact same point they were taken. Their lives progressed as if uninterrupted, and that is why they are never noticed to be missing.

But what of those who die in this world? Do their homes continue on without them? Are they thought to have simply disappeared? And what of their souls? Do they remain here, or are they sent home?

What happens to those who die?

[When the video starts you can see Alois sitting on a couch, wearing a new shirt that is more or less obviously designed for women but pfff, who cares. It looks good.]

Halloween wasn't nearly that much of fun as everyone let me understand. Sure, dressing up and getting candy was nice! There were even bunch of a geezers who said I could more candy if I went to a party with them!

[He laughs cheerfully at the thought. No, he is not going to mention the mentally scarring part of the night.] But that got rather dull and repetitive at some point.

Anyway! [He claps his hands together] It's almost fifth of November, right? I'm supposed to turn fifteen on that day. [A bright and wide smile.]

Now that I think of it.. [He taps his chin with a finger] fifteen years can be a fucking long time, don't you think? I mean, who knows when one might end up dead? With all those diseases and other shit that was going on back in the England.

How does time even work in this place? Does it flow differently here than in other worlds? Or is it the same?

[Lili's voice is weary, and a little bit strained. Those who have been in the clinic might know that she is among them, after everything that went down on Halloween.]

I should thank everyone who offered me help yesterday. Your concern is appreciated, even if it didn't seem that way at the time. And I'm sorry I was so stubborn, it really was silly of me.

As it turns out, my father was never here at all.

[There's a sigh, and a long pause.]

On a more cheerful note, it'll be my birthday tomorrow. I'll have to spend it hospitalized, of course, but it wouldn't be the first time. I should be allowed to be up and about for a while, I hope.

[Locked from Kurapika.]

[There are two things that are weird with this picture. The first thing you see is this dirty, miserable cat, which is as dirty and as miserable as it looks.]

[Next is a swiss army knife -- those multifunction ones -- hanging by its keyring from the middle finger of a hand, so that it drops past the person's palm. Apparently, the focus is the knife, not the cat. They appear to be in a Communal apartment, although it's pretty dark. That's definitely the microwave behind him, though.]

What does it mean, when someone who doesn't like you gives you a gift? I have about six or seven theories about it, some of which are related and are likely plausible in different degrees, but I'd like a second or tenth opinion.

[Pokes the cat a little by the nose. It meows.]

And I found this one on top of a corpse in an alley by the residential district. I think that was its owner. It reminded me of someone I know, but I don't really want a cat. [short, thoughtful pause] Someone else should have it.
