[Today's temperatures are 93/63F (34/17C) - perfect Death City weather if not for that cloud of sand coming in from the distance. Wait, but the sun's perfect view--!!]

[At around noon, that cloud of sand will pass through the city. It's nothing to worry about, since it's just a continuous gust of hot wind at moderate speeds and some sand. Right? Right! Just make sure your windows are shut and you're not driving on the roads. It would also be good if you took your tightie-whities back indoors.]

[Business as usual in Death City despite the small sandstorm, although your favorite establishments might be keeping their doors closed and constantly sweeping sand out. The sandstorm will completely leave the city by evening.]

[Rei appears on the video feed again, huzzah! She is back from her mission, and though there are some bruises, they're not on her face. For once.

She looks cheerful as well, moving some bags around, listening to the wind howl.
] I hope everyone's safely indoors for this... I won't be very happy if I hear someone's been out in it. [LOOKING AT YOU ENMA/SASUKE/JUSTIN/GOKUDERA]

Anyway, the mission was a success, and I got some small gifts for everyone, and then some in case other people are interested. They're mostly just little charms and things, for luck and protection and strength.

[She tries to think of what else to say.]

Oh yes, Justin? Are you still going to take me out to dinner? I want to know what I should wear.

[IT'S NOT A DATE. It's... just Justin wanting to make sure his apprentice eats right. That's all. Really.]

[Oh look, it the Redlight District! It's also early afternoon, so even if it wasn't for the sand storm it'd be pretty dead. Masaru doesn't seem to notice the dead-ness... but even he can't ignore the wind. His little pony tail is going nuts]

Heh, what the hell is with this weather?! How am I supposed to patrol like this?!

[He puts his hands on his hips, and starts laughing regardless]

Whatever, I have this completely under contr-

[Oh hey, sand blowing in that open laughing mouth. Have fun gagging and flailing and hacking Masaru]

[It's early afternoon, and when Enma switches on the video, you can see the sand swirling about outside through the window behind him. He eyes the camera apprehensively for a moment before turning it to face a fair-sized box with DEATHBOX 360 written on it in familiar green lettering.]

So I, uh. Got this...thing.

[He sounds marginally more enthused than usual. Not as enthused as you'd expect a middle-schooler with a new game console to sound, but he's getting there.

He leans forward to open up the box. He fusses with the tape for a moment, pulls it loose and discards it on the floor, then opens up the box and pulls out the styrofoam padding, the huge-like-an-unmentionable-other-gaming-console console, the equally massive power brick, cables, and the controller. Flecks of styrofoam land in his hair and will probably nest there until his next shower. Then he sits back down, turning the camera back to face him]

Never had one before. And, uhm. Guess it's pretty cool...

[A pause as he flips through the instruction manual for a moment, then eyes the cables with trepidation]

And there's stuff outside...and stuff. So. Might as well set it up.

[He reaches for the cables, looks down at them, and takes a moment to correct it]

Try to set it up.

[And then he sits up, dragging the pieces of the system with him. Several minutes of bumping around follow, along with a few muffled 'OW's before Enma reappears holding a controller and a remote. He switches on the TV, then drops the remote, unwittingly turning the volume up. Way up.]

Gonna...see if it turns on.

[He disappears for a moment -- and the console turns on, greeting Enma with a LOUD BLAST OF NOISE. There's a startled yelp from Enma as he tosses the controller in surprise. It crashes through the window, saved from multi-story fall by its cord as Enma scrambles to switch off the feed.

He'll be back momentarily.]
