Homichlophobia, or fear of fog, falls within that category of virtually unheard of afflictions.  Indeed, it would probably be considered an irrational fear by most.  But when you think about it, it's essentially a fear of the unknown -- the eeriness that people attribute to fog is because of what it can hide.  It's the perfect cover for, say, a criminal to jump out from.  Furthermore, what lies behind it is limited only by one's imagination...That criminal may very well be a movie monster, or a bear, or a particularly large spider.

My point: it sounds like some are a little uneasy about this weather lately.  And although I suppose there is something to be said for fog, it's reasonable to say that the thing that people truly fear most about it is just what I suggest -- what could be hiding in it.

So tell me, city: what do you think is lurking out there?

Test, test... this is a pain. Does it have any

Hello? Okay, much easier. They said that lots of people can hear me when I talk into this thing? Modern technology really is amazing.

Well, I'm Reimu, the current Shrine Maiden of the Hakurei Shrine. Except apparently I'm not, because I'm here. This doesn't sound too hard, though. Stopping witches whenever they cause trouble, right? I can do that. From what I gather, we have plenty of "witches" where I'm from, but we call them "youkai" instead. This is basically the same as my old job.

Still a little hazy on what a "Weapon" is, though.

[Lenalee appears on the screen, looking a bit worried but also very determined. She has her hands folded on her lap and sits up straight.]

Excuse me, I'm looking for someone named Watanuki. Are you there? A boy named Shibuya told me you might be able to help me find out whether I'm a weapon or a meister. If you're there and that's true, would you please be willing to help? I'd be much obliged.

People seem to be making such a big deal out of this fog. Is it really something to be so concerned about? It doesn't seem unnatural to me.
