ih8spiders: (Yes? What is it?)

[The video turns on to show Kurapika looking down, into the camera of the communicator. It's not immediately visible, but he's sitting cross-legged on his bed with the communicator cradled in his hands. He's been meditating, so while he looks like he just got out of bed, his eyes are alert and pensive.]

I've been wondering... if the weapons here who've been able to transform feel anything in the process of transforming. Or the meisters, while they're using their abilities. I come from a world where it's possible to sense and harness life energy in practical and tangible ways, and I've been trying to see how that translates to our abilities here.

Just saying, it might be helpful if there's a more concrete explanation for weapon transformation other than it being as instinctive as breathing. If, for example, the process of transformation can be signaled by a physical sensation, like a tug or a twinge somewhere in your gut...

[OOC: Since this is the day after the training, he should have bruises, especially around the neck where Kuroro grabbed him, but I figure that it won't be that obvious through the camera. Feel free to stare if your character can see them, though. :'D]

[The video switches on the reveal Laguna's booted foot. He's on his desk, trying to reach for something ridiculously high up on the shelf and while he's tall... he's somehow not tall enough for this and it requires the desk. His foot hit the device and turned it on without his knowing.]

C-C'mon... It's gotta be up here...

[He looks at the shelf and slumps momentarily with a tiny whine.]

How hard is it to find dogtags?

[Laguna shifts to start getting off the desk, the desk is small and awkward to get on and off. However, in true Laguna fashion, he loses his balance and with a cry, falls backward... head first.

The screen shakes indicating his body hit the floor. The screen then tilts and teeters and... the communicator falls to the floor. The screen fizzles for a moment.]

Ow... that really hurt... [Gasp] H-Hey... why can't I move?!

[The screen fizzes back to life to reveal an interesting perspective of a rather unique weapon. A thick, silver blade is right next to the screen, leading up to a gun barrel and a black handle. It was a gunblade. Well, something that Laguna would recognize should he be able to see himself.]

H-Hello?! Somebody?!
