Day 8 Night. [Diary/Video]

Dear diary,

Italy and I have found ourselves in this place called Death City, which seems to be in America but not. The city's weaponry, BREW, transported us and a few other guests into the city to fight a war that is not ours. The details are blurred at the moment, but here are the facts established:

1. We cannot go home until the war is won.
2. We are part of an institute called the Shibusen and answer to certain individuals who I have yet to meet.
3. Our needs are provided for by the institution supporting us.
4. All guests can either be a weapon or a meister, though what that entails is yet unclear. I am a weapon and Italy is a meister. I do not know if we 'resonate'. Note: Contact 'Spirit' regarding the matter.
5. We may attend classes to learn about this city and its inhabitants, as well as the newfound abilities we have gained to fight this war.
6. The other guests are not all from the world and time that I hail from. Ex: China is from 1960.
7. All nations are human.
8. Prussia is here.

The logistics do not make sense at this point, but further investigation may reveal something.

I have been told by Professor Stein to contact an individual named 'Deathscythe', otherwise known as 'Spirit'. I am a weapon and it is most relevant to my interests to know what a weapon does and how to become one. Would anyone know how to contact this person beyond the use of women, as the professor suggests?

Um, Professor Stein? Sorry I didn't ask this before, and about what we were saying in class, but... I wanted to ask if I could talk to you to find out if I was a weapon or a meister? I hope it's okay.

Stein-hakase? Would you mind answering some questions I had?

First, could you tell me if I'm a meister or a weapon?

Second, from what I've read so far on the network, what weapons can do it obvious, but what about meisters? Do they have special abilities akin to those of the weapons?

Finally, why you would give someone the impression that in order to gain Spirit-san's attention, one must use a woman as bait?

Attention, Death Scythe speaking, this is an important announcement!

First thing's first: I don't know what kind of nasty RUMOURS my partner has been spreading, but as the second in command of Shibusen it's my duty to provide support to any and all technicians!

As a father and and as reigning Death Scythe, I wouldn't turn away anyone with questions I could answer, or problems I could help solve - women have absolutely nothing to do with it!  Of course, if you are a beautiful woman... we could always discuss said problems or questions over coffee instead of my office - but that's beside the point!

Remember students of Shibusen,  the doors to my office are always open, except when they're closed!

In all honesty, you kids shouldn't even have time for rumours! There are plenty of better things to do than listen to Stein talk about me, like finding a partner or getting a job! The employment bulletin will be posted later today, everyone should take a look, even if you're not interested in extra pocket money.

Oh, and one more thing- I was happy to see a lot of you attended class yesterday, Death Scythe is very proud of you! Try and make a habit  of it, even if class isn't mandatory.  You'll learn a lot of helpful things about your new abilities- and it's an easy way to schmooze for partners! Technicians who regularly go to class will be given preference over those who don't when it comes to important missions or faculty positions.
